Every dog deserves more than just getting by. In this presentation, Becky will explore the five domains of animal welfare and how they work together to shape your dog’s overall wellbeing. From nutrition and health to environment, mental wellness, and behavior, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of what your dog needs to truly thrive. You’ll leave with actionable ideas and a clearer picture of how Canine Craze and Craze Trained Club can support you and your dog in each of these areas.

Ready to take your dog’s training to the next level? In this clinic, we’ll focus on how to thoughtfully and effectively fade food reinforcers while maintaining strong, reliable behaviors.

We’ll start with an educational lecture covering reinforcement strategies as a whole. You’ll learn how to use a variety of reinforcers, including food, toys, and real-life rewards in your dog’s environment. We’ll also discuss when it’s appropriate to begin fading food and how to identify which skills are truly ready for that transition.

From there, we’ll break down the process of fading food in a clear, practical way so you can apply it confidently to behaviors your dog already knows.

The second half of the clinic includes a hands-on training component for working teams. Participants will have guided opportunities to practice skills and begin implementing food fading strategies with their dogs in real time.

Virtual Home Manners Challenge

Challenge opens May 4th 

Earn your AKC Virtual Home Manners title during this 10 week challenge.

This fully virtual title is used to show off the manners that you have taught your dog at home. There are two levels of this test, the Virtual Home Manners Puppy (VHMP) for puppies under a year old and the Virtual Home Manners Adult (VHMA) for dogs older than 4 months.

Each week submit one or more videos of you and dog performing a test item. After accomplishing all 10 respective test items, you will be qualified to earn this title. 

AKC Trick Dog Challenge 

Challenges opens March 9th

Master one trick per week from the list of tricks. After completing 10 tricks, email [email protected] to have an AKC Evaluator evaluate your video submissions to earn your title!
