Personal training offers a wide selection of alternatives to group training. For busy people; for a family with crazy schedules; for people with handicaps, physical problems, split shifts, or other issues that make regular class attendance difficult; for people who want to zero in on a specific behavior without attending a class. If any of these is you, we offer personal training options to help you get the dog of your dreams.
Whether you need extra help to keep up in class or want to train your dog yourself without attending a class, private training may be for you.
We specialize in equipping you to solve behavior problems:
- Jumping on people
- Housebreaking
- Nipping, play biting
- Excessive barking
- Chewing
- Escaping yard or pen
- Digging
- Resource guarding
- Aggressive behaviors
New Puppy Consultation
For those of you with a new puppy or newly adopted dog, Puppy Consultation will give you a great start for a lasting relationship with your new companion. Starting your pet off with a well planned training program will help you provide the structure your puppy needs to learn quickly the behaviors that are most important to puppy owners; crate training, quiet nights, potty training, relating to other pets, nutrition, health, hygiene, leash walking and so much more.
Puppy Consultations are ideal before the puppy arrives to set up your manners and behavior training plan.
Behavior Modification
If your dog displays fears or aggression this may be the right program for you. We work a desensitization program with you and your dog to help make your dog manageable in applicable environments.
Scott Jetter has been working with aggression cases since 2000 and since then has had many opportunities to work with canines with behavioral issues. Including working with dogs at Lamar Dixon during Hurricane Katrina Relief and being invited down to work with primates in Texas while a Sanctuary was being shut down to help the primates cope with the stress. Among many opportunities Scott mostly enjoys helping the people and the animal work through tough situations so the dog and handler teams can live a happier healthier lifestyle together.
