PLEASE BRING YOUR DOG WITH YOU TO THIS HELP! SESSION.

Does you dog not respond to you when you call their name?  Maybe when you’re at the dog park or people are at your house or they’re distracted sniffing the fire hydrant, the grass, a person, the cement, the couch cushion, the flowers, or anything else that may be of interest to them in that moment?  Then, this may be a solution for you.  Learn some tricks of the trade on building a better relationship with your dog and obtain a reliable recall.

Reading Dog Behavior
May 19, 2012 10:00am – 12:00pm

THIS HELP SESSION IS DOG-FREE (please do not bring your dog)

Ever wonder what your dog is saying to the other dogs?  This is your chance to step into the paws of your dog and learn how to read how your dog feels in this HELP! Session.  We will cover play signals, calming signals, proper greeting behaviors, and more.

Not all dogs LOVE the dog park nor is the dog park for all dogs.  We will identify the dog park check list to find out if your dog is a good candidate for the dog park and steps you can take to help your dog be a better dog park dog.

Identifying Dog Signals

THIS HELP SESSION IS DOG-FREE! (please do not bring your dog)

Sometimes dog signals are confusing they are telling us a lot more than we are able to intake.  Get an opportunity to watch dog play and identify dog signals on the spot to become a better reader of what your dog is trying to tell you.

Dog to Dog Introductions

PLEASE BRING YOUR DOG WITH YOU TO THIS HELP! SESSION.

Dog to dog introductions is one of the most important parts of dog social interaction.  If the greeting goes bad it sticks.  Dog greetings are like first impressions…learn the skills it takes to ensure your dog has a good first impression with other dogs when in a social environment.

Nail Trimming

THIS HELP SESSION IS DOG-FREE!

Does your dog fight when you are trying to trim their nails?  Well Canine Craze would like to help you with your dog on how to make nail trimming a less stressful event for both you and your dog.  We will teach you how to use a Dremel tool and how to condition your dog to tolerate the nail trimming process.

Loose Leash Walking

PLEASE BRING YOUR DOG WITH YOU TO THIS HELP! SESSION.

Does your dog pull you down the street when you are out for a walk?  Does it make walks stressful?  You would probably be surprised to know that a dog who pulls during walks doesn’t only cause stress for the handler but also causes stress for the dogs.  Canine Craze will demonstrate and share some of the most important elements of being successful at teaching loose leash walking, this will make walks much more enjoyable for both the handler and the dog?
