Just being active with your dog in a recreational sport or teaching them to be helpful around the house is beneficial and will quickly turn a mischievous dog into a great dog. It is important for a dog’s mind to have something to keep it busy. A dog’s “job” could include participating in obedience, agility, fly ball, dog scouts, therapy work, Schutzhund, ring sports, rally obedience, dock diving, carting, tracking, freestyle, earth dog, herding, lure coursing or more. You can participate in many of these activities with your pet dog. A working dog is a happy dog.
