Thank you for your interest in the Ankeny Dog Park!
After 3 years of fundraising, the 7.5-acre Ankeny Dog Park opened in September, 2010! It features 2 separate fenced-in areas for large and small dogs to run and play off-leash, a fenced pond for water-loving dogs to swim, paved parking, water fountains, biodegradable bags and septic system for waste. Posted rules help ensure a safe and positive experience for everyone.

Annual Passes
2012 Ankeny Dog Park passes are on sale NOW! They are $25 for residents, $35 for non-residents and $5 for a 1-day pass. For an application or more info on annual passes, Click Here. 

Ankeny Dog Park Events
The Ankeny Dog Park hosts dog-friendly events during the summer months including an Open House, Bark and Brew and Barktoberfest.  For upcoming dates and details, visit the Ankeny Dog Park’s events page.

Fundraising Efforts
Even though the Park is open, fundraising efforts continue to support additional amenities – such as agility equipment, benches, etc. A new walking path will be added in the spring of 2012.
